Bhai Dooj Ki Kahaani
The ceremony on bhaidooj on that day sisters put Teeka on the forehead of their brothers. The Teeka is the consecrated mark for Hindus. The Teeka is made with vermilion, sandal paste, roli or kumkum. A Puja thali is prepared before the start of the ceremony. Using sandal wood paste, red vermilion or a roli, the Teeka is pinched and a few grains of rice are added. There are four good Choghadiya Amrit, Shubh, Labh, and Chal to start favorable work and three bad choghadiya is rog, Kaal, Udveg should be avoided.
