New Library Open / Launch in Rajkot at Shroff Road by Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC)

Rajkot Municipal Corporation has opened a new library with high-tech facilities on 8th November 2014. With opening of this new library, Rajkot city gets one more source for knowledge. This library is situated beside ward office of shroff road.

This new library is providing latest facilities to the little kids to higher education student in very minor fees. Rajkot Corporation has decided fees according to government standards for toys and books on rent, indoor mini theater and other facilities.

This new library is indeed called latest as it contains the very old and famous serials including Nukkad, Ramayana and Mahabharat like DVDs and old and historical movies collection. In books section, the books from national and foreign authors are available in vast amount.

The mini theater is for having power presentation for engineering, medical like higher study student. There is special section for children. The middle and poor family children cannot afford costly toys so RMC has decided only Rs 5 per day fees for children library.

RMC is providing all high level facilities like first rowed colleges including books, multimedia club, e-book, digital media, net library, puzzle toys, Wi-Fi, e-reader, e-library, student study corner, internet search and different types of books with very minor charges.

The mini theater also shows kids film show, documentary, famous movie show, workshop, book review, counseling, quiz competition with latest sound system.

This is such a good initiative taken by Rajkot Corporation for people.
