Gujarat to set up India’s First Business Club at GIFT City Gandhinagar
Yes, It’s True !! India's first Business Club to be set up in Gujarat at GIFT City. Gujarat International Finance Tec-City will get India's first Business Club in Gujarat, the allotment for which has been made to West India Hospitality Ltd.
In accordance with the allotment, the Business Club will be part of a five star hotel which West India is going to set up at GIFT City. As per the terms of the agreement, the Club will be built in the non-SEZ area of GIFT City. For the Hotel and Club, the developer has shortlisted Starwood's Sheraton brand which is the major brand of Starwood Group with 400 hotels and 1, 40,000 rooms across the world. The Hotel and Club would broadly cover around 300 hotel rooms and 40 club rooms correspondingly.
The built-up area of the business club at GIFT City is predictable at about 80,000 sq. feet. It has been planned to support professionals and businessmen in the country to meet at a favorable business environment and at the same time have the flexibility of a Club environment to relax. The Club will have sports facilities like executive golf, badminton, table tennis, squash, billiards, tennis, spa, swimming pool, gym etc. which business community can use during their free time. Also the families of business community would find the environment attractive and thereby would be able to enjoy the free time while their family members finish their business meetings. It would also cover School, Hospital, Financial Services Training Centre, University and Hotel & Club.
Gujarat state will prove that, this decision of India's first Business Club to be set up in Gujarat at GIFT City is always be right. Gujarat has become the Global Business Hub and is be a focus for large number of delegations and business visitors; like the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit is attracting large number of international and national allocation to Gujarat. GIFT is developing a Global Financial Hub in Gandhinagar and expects many international and national players in financial services.
