Saddle up for Gujarat’s first ever equestrian and adventure festival. Gujarat’s first equine and animal fair is all set to establish itself as the country’s best. Animal traders, buyers, breeders and equestrians from across the country are slated to participate in the weeklong event which comprises of an Animal Trading Fair, and the founding of Equestrian Sporting in India.

Gujarat’s First Horse & Animal Trade Fair - Forecasted 21st February 2013

A new sport is set to take India by storm. Local teams will be picked and formed with passionate equestrians bidding for the swiftest steeds from the best stables. Apart from this spotlight event, adventurists, nature lovers and those with a taste for culture are in for the treat of their lives with a number of other activities planned at Sandstorm.

Horse Racing and Equine Events have long since been a part of deeply rooted Indian traditions. Marwari horses have long been regarded as one of the finest equine breeds. As per the bloodlines of this sport, the events carried by the Riders Club include a variety of races, a breed show and horse dancing activities, all following guidelines effected by the Equestrian Federation of India, All India Marwari Horse Society, Govt. of Gujarat and the Equestrian Association with Equestrian Club of Gujarat.

Sand Storm festival buses will help people commute from Ahmedabad & Gandhinagar to Ambod. The festival site is 45 minutes away. Details regarding the festival busses will be available around the time of the festival. Passes will be available at the venue and at city hot spots in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar.
