Worlds Longest 4000 Feet RED Ribbon will be made in RAJKOT Gujarat

World AIDS day is celebrated on 1st December of every year. AIDS prevention club Rajkot, Rajkot municipal corporation health department and Sarvodaya School will jointly celebrate World AIDS day 2014 in Rangeelu city Rajkot on 1st December 2014 on Monday.

Every year AIDS day celebration in Rajkot city is noted at the world level. This year rally-seminar will be organized on World AIDS day in Rajkot. Apart from this, the AIDS prevention club associating with RMC is going to make world’s longest 4000 feet red ribbon. They will also fly a 20 feet long red ribbon with 1000 balloons in the sky on 30th November 2014 from Race course, Bal bhavan, Kishanpara chowk.

The AIDS prevention club has also informed Limca Book of record and Guinness book of world record as they are going to make world’s longest red ribbon on world AIDS day. The red ribbon is the official symbol for awareness about AIDS in people globally. The organizers are expecting the Rajkot citizens to join this AIDS awareness celebration to control this virus disease.

The celebration for World AIDS day will be started from 29th November in the Rajkot city. Every school, colleges are invited to organize AIDS related function so that students get aware about AIDS control. The AIDS prevention club will guide people from their help line number 98250 78000. The organizers are also asking Rajkot people to join the World’s longest red ribbon making ceremony to show their support for AIDS prevention.

The college students of Kansagara Mahila College will organize the rally on 1st December 2014 in the morning with the theme ‘Walk for AIDS- getting to zero’. There are drawing, essay writing and other competitions are organized in the Kansagara College and the winners will be given good prizes and certificates.

On 1st December 2014 Monday at 4 Pm at P.D.M college ground with the help of Sarvodaya School, world’s longest 4000 feet red ribbon will be made by AIDS prevention club in which about 7000 students, 400 teachers and 2000 parents will join.

The RMC, AIDS prevention club and Sarvodaya School is making good efforts for AIDS awareness and prevention in the people.
