Balasinor Dinosaur Fossil Park Gujarat - Jurassic Park and Dynasore Museum in Raiyoli-Balsinor India

Gujarat is a famous tourist destination in India for its rich culture, the Rann of Kutch, Traditional food and coastline places but apart from this, Gujarat has a huge wealth of fossilized dinosaur remains. Surprised! Well, there are mainly two dinosaur museums set in Gujarat; one is Indroda Dinosaur and Fossil Park (the second largest hatchery of dinosaur eggs in the world) and Balasinor Dinosaur Fossil Park (India's Jurassic Park).

Balasinor Fossil Park is located in Raiyoli village, south-eastern parts of Kheda, Panchmahal and Vadodara districts of the state. Balasinor Village is about one and a half hours drive from Mega city of Gujarat, Ahmedabad. Dinosaur Museum Balasinor is developed by the Government Tourism, Raiyoli Dinosaur Fossil Excavation Site as it is positioned in the nearby Raiyoli village. . Paleontologists suppose that at least seven species of dinosaur exists here and researchers have exposed fossils of about 10,000 dinosaur eggs, make Raiyoli the third largest hatchery in the world.

At the site you can see part of a limb embedded in a rock, supposed fossilized remains of skin and other bones, fossilized egg rings and even a 65 million year old egg fossil. The name of Dinosaurs whose fossil were found in the Balasinor include Rajasaurus, Indosaurus, Indosuchus, Jainosaurus, Rahiolisaurus and Titanosaurus. Balasinor Fossil Park has a officials of the Gujarat State say ‘Dinosaur Tourism’. The scientists talk about the reason behind this Dynasore Fossils that they flourished on the luxurious vegetation on the flat grounds near the Narmada River. Other attraction near Balasinor is Ambaji Temple, Galteshwar, Champaner and Wanakbori Dam in Gujarat India.
