Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani is an upcoming 2013 Bollywood romance film directed by Ayan Mukerji under Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
The film Bollywood Stars Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in lead roles, who star in their second film together after Bachna Ae Haseeno. Bollywood Actor Ranbir Kapoor was the first to sign the film, and is working under Ayan Mukerji's direction for the second time after Wake up Sid. For his role in the film, Kapoor will be sporting pierced ears.
The Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani Film shooting began on March 20 in Hadimba Temple, Manali. In May, the cast filmed in Udaipur, where Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone also shot for a romantic song. The unit had a tough time shooting in Rajasthan in recent news. Sources claim that shooting for the Ayan Mukherjee film in Udaipur has helped the couple rekindle their snuffed romance.
If the latest buzz from the sets of Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani is to be believed then the ex-flames Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are bonding big time while shooting the movie. The couple is filming some romantic portions in Udaipur, Rajasthan, and is spotted spending quality time after the working hours. Is romance in the air for Ranbir and Deepika?
Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone had a bitter break-up, which even led Deepika Padukone to talk about her pain at public platforms. The actress was even skeptical to sign the film with Ranbir Kapoor, but said yes eventually. The two first started shooting for the film in the wonderful hill city of Manali, and now are shooting in Udaipur.
“Both stars are shooting romantic scenes at historical places and both are very much close to each other on the sets and after shooting hours. Ranbir prefers to spend most of his evenings with Deepika,” tells a source to a tabloid.
Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani is a romantic comedy starring Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead along with Aditya Roy Kapoor and Kalki Koechlin. The film Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani produced by Dharma productions went on floors on in March this year and is presently being shot in Jodhpur Rajasthan.
Talking about the Ranbir-Deepika's new film, Karan Johar says that the title Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani is a line taken from RD Burman's famous song from the 70s hit movie Jawani Deewani. It is a romantic film and is sure to exploit Ranbir and Deepika's on-screen chemistry to its fullest extent. Karan adds that they are the best choice for the film.
