Achal Mehta has started singing at the age of nine years. His first performance was in primary school, singing The National Anthem. Once his potential was recognized by him, he represented his school at the Youth Festival which was held at State level and won the 1st position. Later on he had performed at many different competitions and won many prizes and Awards.
Achal Mehta is a very popular singer of Gujarat, India. Achal Mehta has started his journey of 33 rd year in the field of Rass-Garba and Sugam sangeet in 2012.
Achal Mehta was gifted with a natural and fabulous voice. He become a very famous in Vadodara, India and overseas too, and has created some evergreen hits like “Vhlam ni Vansali Vagi”, “Maa No Garbo, Shrad Poonam Ni Rat Ma”, and “Venu Vagadto”.
He is working for Rishabh Group. All new compositions of Rishabh group became popular worldwide, out of which "Akhuye Gaam" composed by Achal Mehta and sung by Dewangi Jadeja became a instant hit amongst all music lovers. Rishabh Group also runs music academy to teach both classical and light vocal music to number of talented people Like Achal Mehta, Kaushik Mistry etc…Rishabh Group as to give them opportunity to showcase their talent and achieve success.
Achal Mehta has also given his voice to other light classical albums other than Rishabh group’s albums. He is very popular due to ease in both Garba and sugam sangeet. In the Year 2007 he launched one ghazal’s albums “Samandar”.
In this continental album ‘SAMANDAR’ there are seven beautiful heart touching GHAZALS written by Kaisar ul zafri sahib, Ahmad faraz, saheb and Hassan naim saheb were conceived, composed and sung by ACHAL MEHTA himself.
