Jay Chhaniyara in Comedy Nights With Kapil - Young Comedian from Rajkot Gujarat India
Jay Chhaniyara (1993) the Pride of Gujarat- Rajkot, is a bundle of talent reckoned despite the handicap of Cerebral Palsy (if unattended could result in physical and mental impairment).
Life took a completely new turn for Jai Chhaniyara once he performed at National Conference on Cerebral Palsy at Allahabad as a budding comedian, an event organized by Samvedna Trust. Samvedna Trust is a Charitable Trust treating children afflicted by Cerebral Palsy. Jay Chhaniyara and his parents were consoled while meeting and interacting with other children that he was not alone in suffering of Cerebral Palsy journey but many more in the milieu.
Four people played a very crucial role in molding Jay Chhaniyara’s success as a vibrant young Gujarati comedian, celebrity of international repute one as Dr Jitendra Kumar Jain, pediatric orthopaedic surgeon at Samvedna Trust, Samvedna Trust who acted as a “Candle in the dark” in Jay’s life, his parents Mr. and Mrs. Chhaniyara’s never giving up attitude despite all odds. Thanks to all these today Jay can read, write, walk, perform and return to his hometown Rajkot.
Performing from the tender age of 6 as a gifted child all over Gujarat and coming to Mumbai with participation in “Koi bhi Aao – Hanse ke Dikhao” winning the Marshal Comedy Award he climbed another success ladder by participating in the “The Great Indian Laughter Challenge” on Star TV.
Singing devotional songs as well as Rafi songs, reciting Sher-o-Shayries and cracking jokes is also some of the feats which brings Jay lot of accolades as a Celebrity. The title Little Laughter Champion from Gujarat is invited by the one and only Kapil Sharma at his show “ Comedy Nights with Kapil” to be honored and felicitated befittingly by the entire crew and cast of the show, the entire fraternity of comedians in the country viz. Ali Asgar, Kiku Sharda, Sumona Chakravati, Upasana Singh, Chandan Prabhakar and Navjot Sidhu.
