National Seminar on FARM Income Insurance on 4 September 2014 at Gandhinagar Gujarat
India is an agricultural country and hence proper rainfall is very important for our farmers in rural India. India is fortunate to have all four weathers in the world but our farmers look forward always for monsoon. Whenever there is less rainfall there is drought in the state/country and likewise if there is very heavy rainfall there are floods. To help the farmers cope up with such situations Central Government has come up with FII Scheme (Farm Income Insurance Scheme).FII provides financial security to all insured farmers. This seminar covers issues related to FII. In Order to get FII, Government Officials normally ask farmers to grow more of wheat and rice.
