Ravi Krushi Mahotsav 2014 - Winter Edition of Krushi Mahotsav in Gujarat India

Ravi Krushi Mahotsav 2014 is inaugurated by Gujarat Chief Minister Smt. Anandiben Patel on 11th December 2014. Ravi Krushi mahotsav is the winter edition of Krushi mahotsav in Gujarat. Ravi Krushi Mahotsav 2014 will be held across the Gujarat state from 11th December to 21st December 2014.

Each district of Gujarat has been given a target of definite number of farmers that are to be brought to Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar for inauguration of the mahotsav. The event inauguration will be done by our CM Smt. Anandiben Patel.

Gujarat government’s ‘Ravi Krushi Mahotsav’ has benefited farmers greatly. Farmers have prospered due to such efforts.

There are many parts of the Ravi Krushi Mahotsav including Village level seminars, guidance on better crop management, visits of experts and many. Under the leadership of Narendra Modi, the Gujarat had initiated annual Krushi Mahotsav a few years back ahead of Kharif season. From this year onwards, the state government is also introducing Ravi Krushi Mahotsav for winter crop.

Krushi Mahotsav has led to increasing awareness amongst farmers about the advantages of scientific farming and animal husbandry, benefits of drip irrigation and built a bridge between agri-scientists and the farming community.

There would be large number of farmers present in the inauguration ceremony. As our country depends on Farming, it is very beneficial for our country ultimately.
