Sachin Tendulkar Autobiography Book Launch in English on Nov 2014 - PLAYING IT MY WAY
The master blaster, cricket maestro Sachin Tendulkar finally launched his most awaited autobiography in Mumbai. Sachin released his autobiography book in the presence of some of his past teammates, celebrities and family members at an engrossing ceremony in Mumbai.
Sachin offered the first copy of the book to his mother - similar to the manner he dedicated his Bharat Ratna to all the mothers in the world which he was given in his last match in 2013. The highest run-scorer in the history of international cricket, Sachin Tendulkar retired in 2013 after playing for an amazing 24 years.
Now Sachin Tendulkar tells his own remarkable story - from playing in the by lanes of built-up Mumbai, to his first Test cap at the age of 16 to his 100th international century and the emotional final farewell that brought his country to a standstill. Despite his celebrity status, Sachin Tendulkar has always remained a very private man, devoted to his family and country. Now, for the first time, he provides a enthralling insight into his personal life and gives a frank and revealing account of a sporting life like no other.
The book will be simultaneously released all over the world and in India represented by Hachette India. He has talked about his personal matters, dressing room matters, about his team players and very close to him including Rahul Dravid, Saurav Ganguly and VVS Laxman.
Sachin Tendulkar calls his daughter Sara Tendulkar and hands the first copy of the autobiography to his first coach Sir Ramakant Achrekar. Sachin Tendulkar asked Anjali to play as journalist as she was visiting his house for the first time. She recalls how she used to call on PCO and worry about the money. So she thought of writing letters and wait for the reply.
